Goldenberg Technologies, Inc. d/b/a Drensys (“Drensys”) respects your privacy and recognizes your need for appropriate protection and management of your Personal Information that you may submit to us by telephone, when using our websites, online services, software or during the performance of remote computer support services provided via telephone or online by Drensys, its subsidiaries and affiliated entities (“Drensys”, “we”, “our” or “us”). “Personal Information” is information that (i) is recorded in any form; (ii) is about you or pertains to you, and (iii) can be linked to you. Personal Information includes information like your name, address, e-mail address, phone number, and other information that is associated with the foregoing. Personal Information does not include information we may collect that does not identify you (“Other Information”), such as how many devices use a particular operating system or how many customers experience a certain kind of technical problem.

Drensys as data controller, is responsible for the processing of your personal information on this Site. We recognize that when you choose to provide us with information about yourself, you trust us to act in a responsible manner. This Privacy Policy outlines how your personally identifiable information and other personal data will be collected, used, and shared in connection with your access to and/or use of Drensys.com and any content, features, services, or other offerings that Drensys may provide in connection therewith (collectively, the “Site”). This Privacy Policy also describes your choices and rights regarding the use, access and correction or deletion of your user information. By using the Site, you consent to the use of your user information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you are located in the EU, you will also be asked to provide clear and unequivocal affirmative consent to the collection, processing, and sharing of your user information via cookies and similar technologies. This Privacy Policy covers the Site. While you may encounter links on the Site to other websites, such as those relating to our third party sponsors, advertisers, and other partners, please note that these websites are not covered by this Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to the activities of Drensys third party sponsors, advertisers, and other partners that may collect your user information while accessing or using such third party's services in connection with your use of our Site (e.g. social media and sharing services). The privacy and information practices of those third parties are not covered by this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Statement applies only to information collected by us.

GATHERING INFORMATION

Information Collected

We collect Personal Information in a variety of ways, including when you subscribe to one of our newsletters, download a trial version of a product, or receive a product or service from us or one of our distribution partners or from a service provider who licenses one of our remote support systems. During your use of our website, software and services, our systems may also collect Other Information from your device and network that is not used to identify you, but is helpful in our efforts to provide the features or services you have requested. This includes information such as the type of computer and processor you are using, which version of the operating system is installed, the configuration of your computer in terms of other application programs used, your computer’s Media Access Control address, whether any security software is installed and if it is up-to-date, the names, makes and models of other devices on your network, and information on how you use our products. For example, Drensys automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser, including your IP address, Drensys cookie information, and the webpages you request. This is done as part of regular internet communication between a browser and a website. We use this information to provide the services and functions you request, and to improve our product and service offerings in the future. We may use and disclose Other Information for any purpose, except where we are required to do otherwise under applicable law. If we are required to treat Other Information as Personal Information under applicable law, then we may use it for the purposes for which we use and disclose Personal Information as detailed in this Privacy Policy.

Cookies & usage tracking

Drensys and its marketing partners, affiliates, analytics providers, or customer support providers use technologies such as cookies, beacons, tags and local shared objects such as HTML5 and scripts, to analyze trends, administer the website, track users’ movements around the website, and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. We may receive reports based on the use of these technologies by these companies on an individual and aggregated basis.

Web Beacons

We use web beacons (invisible images often referred to as pixel tags or clear GIFs) on our site in order to recognize users, assess traffic patterns, identify preferred content and measure site engagement. We also include web beacons in our e-mail messages, including newsletters, in order to count how many e-mail messages have been opened.

 

Drensys and its partners (including advertising partners) also use web beacons to collect various data provided by your browser while you are on our Site and elsewhere (i.e., outside of the Site) where we may be acting as a 3rd party. Log Files

We may transfer information about you in the event of any reorganization, merger, sale, joint venture, assignment, transfer or other disposition of all or any portion of our business, assets or stock (including in connection with any bankruptcy or similar proceedings).

 

We will only pass your data to third parties in the following circumstances:

* you have provided your explicit consent for us to pass data to a named third party;

* we are using a third party purely for the purposes of processing data on our behalf and we have in place a data processing agreement with that third party that fulfils our legal obligations in relation to the use of third party data processors; or

In addition, we will only pass data to third parties outside of the EU where appropriate safeguards are in place as defined by Article 46 of the General Data Protection Regulation.

 

How long we keep your data

We take the principles of data minimization and removal seriously and have internal policies in place to ensure that we only ever ask for the minimum amount of data for the associated purpose and delete that data promptly once it is no longer required.

 

Where data is collected on the basis of consent, we will seek renewal of consent at least every three years.

 

As necessary to provide services to you

We occasionally hire other companies to provide limited services on our behalf, such as handling the processing and delivery of newsletter mailings, processing transactions, or performing statistical analysis of our services.
